Frequently Asked Questions
How can I ensure the smoothest delivery for my order?
Our keyboards (and most other items) have a lead time, but we ship as soon as we can, often sooner than the stated lead time. This means the exact time it takes to ship your keyboard varies, and the delivery date depends on the courier's schedule. Most orders also ship with a signature requirement to make sure they reach you. Here are a few things you can do to make the delivery as smooth as possible:
- Ship to an address where you or someone you trust will be for around 3-4 weeks following your order to allow for plenty of flexibility if your order is ready quickly or unexpectedly delayed. When you get your order confirmation email, please double-check that your shipping address is correct. Do not try to ship the board while traveling for short periods. It is not possible to redirect a shipment once it ships.
- Watch for the shipping confirmation email with the tracking number from the courier and check the tracking regularly. Shipping is usually quite fast, but there may still be unpredictable delays, especially around holidays. If there are import fees due, they should be payable from the tracking page, or the courier should contact you about them, as the keyboard is arriving in your country. If you don't hear from the courier about this but it appears your package has stalled, please reach out directly to the courier.
- If the first delivery attempt fails for any reason (this can happen if you're not home or the courier has not received your import fee payment), couriers will usually attempt to deliver 1-2 more times during the following business days. If you will not be able to receive the package, you can request the courier hold the package for pickup instead. Couriers will usually hold packages for about a week before sending them back.
- Do not waive the signature requirement.
While we want to help as much as we can with deliveries, we don't have very much control over what couriers do. We always recommend reaching out to couriers directly first because the courier will often ask for this anyway — they prefer to deal with the package recipient when it comes to delivery issues.
If you need to reschedule a delivery date, ask the courier to attempt delivery again, or organize a pickup rather than delivery, these are all things we do not control.
If you have tried contacting the courier and aren't getting anywhere, or you think your package is lost, then please do reach out to us. These are issues that we can help with.
