Will the keyboard work with a USB hub or KVM switch?

Often yes, but not always. USB hubs and KVMs can sometimes prevent our boards from drawing the full power out of a USB port. In rare cases, this may mean the keyboard will not work at all, but it is far more common to only cause issues while flashing new layouts to the keyboard. This can almost always be fixed by plugging the keyboard directly into your device.

If you are buying a USB hub or KVM specifically to use with one of our keyboards, we recommend getting a powered one (i.e, a unit that has a dedicated power supply that plugs into the wall).
