When we set out to make the world's first laptop backpack that's purpose-built for split keyboard users, the first thing we did was find the right partner.

Add the included stand to your split keyboard, and you’ve got more than a backpack; it’s a complete ergonomic setup you can take wherever you go.
The Nexstand™ K2 is lightweight and collapsible, yet sturdy. Made from durable fiberglass reinforced nylon, it’s strong enough for daily use while staying easy to pack and carry.
With 8 adjustable height levels, it lifts your screen to eye level to reduce neck and back strain. An open, ventilated design keeps your laptop cool, while anti-slip rubber feet ensure a stable, secure setup wherever you work.

Jo, ZSA’s lead designer, is based in South Africa. As soon as the project came up, she knew who that should be.

A class act
Founded in 2015 (just like ZSA), Sealand blends a passion for adventure with strong core values. All of their bags and apparel are crafted from post-consumer and responsibly sourced materials, flowing through ethical supply chains that respect workers' rights. A minimum of 1% of all revenue is donated to local environmental partners.
The ZSA backpack is handmade in Indonesia by Sealand’s manufacturing partner, Tasindo.
Founded in 1989, Tasindo is a leading international bag manufacturer with a state-of-the-art, sustainable factory powered by solar energy. Certified by Bluesign and EOCA, they prioritize environmental responsibility and CO2 reduction.

In Latin, it means “it is solved by walking”. You can take this literally: Walking is incredibly healthy for both body and mind. We should all spend time outside, simply walking, not looking at a screen.
On another level, and more historically, it also means that rather than endlessly theorizing about something, we should try it out and see what happens. And that’s just what we did with this backpack, and with all of our keyboards. Try, carefully iterate with real prototypes, and keep refining until it feels right. We didn’t do any focus groups or make PowerPoints. We just got to work, step by step, until we ended up with an incredible backpack. Walk the walk.
Warranty
The backpack is backed by Sealand’s “Evergreen Guarantee”. This covers defects related to the failure in craftsmanship or material. Should you experience any of these issues, Sealand will repair your backpack, for free, for 10 years from your date of delivery. Ordinary wear and tear, abuse, or misuse are not covered by Sealand's guarantee.
The Nexstand K2 laptop stand comes with a one-year warranty from your date of delivery against any manufacturing defects. If your jurisdiction requires a minimum of a two-year warranty, ZSA will cover the additional year.
